    Expect the unexpected. That’s what everyone always seems to tell you while you’re growing up and experiencing the world. If I’ve learned anything saying “expect the unexpected” is just a safe word that people tell you when they have nothing else to say to make you feel better.

    I didn’t expect my dad to die. I didn’t expect to get pregnant at the age of sixteen then miscarry. I didn’t expect to be openly gay. I didn’t expect to be a rock star. I didn’t expect to be engaged at the age of 22. I guess that’s all supposed to unexpected right?

    Yeah well I didn’t expect my former boyfriend to walk back into my life in a whole new way, telling me he’s in love with me.

    “just tell me you don’t love me!” Aiden yelled forcing an answer from my lips

    “I’m sorry…” I told him…well Spencer was right. I didn’t say I didn’t love him.

    I just wish I could say “I wish things were easier like they used to be” but nothings ever easy. I’m in love with one person…but I love two people. Aiden’s in my life no matter what, but when I’m with Spencer there’s a certain comfort I don’t find with anyone else. But now the entire world knows we’re engaged, and I’m afraid that even with everything I’ve gone through I still have no idea what’s about to happen.

    “good morning” I said while Spencer started to wake up and I was sitting on the chair facing the bed with my guitar in hand

    “what time is it?” she asked in a tired voice

    “um about nine…”

    “how long have you been up?” she asked starting to sit up

    “about two hours…” I told her “…I’ve never been able to sleep on these busses…”

    “not even with me next to you…”

    “that helps…it saves me about an hour” I told her making her laugh a little “sorry if I woke you up…” I told her

    “no I didn’t even hear you…” she said smiling then I put my guitar on the stand and went to sit next to her on the bed and she rested her head on my chest

    3. ashley is an ass. im sorry but, she is. and so is aiden. she needs to open her eyes and realize that she may have a ‘past’ with aiden but, she has a present and hopefully, future with spencer. she needs to get over herself and look at what she has in front of her before it’s gone! great post! cant wait for the next one!     9. I’m with Spencer…she needs to move on and let Aiden have Ashley. I’m at that point now I’m just sick of the Spaiden love story, if that’s what you want to call it. Ashley is a pain in the ass and can’t stay faithful to the one she supposedly loves…Move on Spencer, she’ll never change. PMS
