“Dude, are you serious?!” Kaylen exclaimed.

I nodded.  I didn’t even try to control the huge smile that was plastered across my face.

“That is fuckin’ amazing.  She told me that she was going to try and find a way to talk to you this weekend, but she didn’t mention anything about singing you a song at the concert.” She continued.

It was Tuesday and we were doing some final studying for our exam tomorrow.  We both felt really comfortable with the material so we were taking a break to discuss the details from my weekend in LA.

“It was amazing” I replied “I mean I know she obviously has good genetics for the music stuff, but she totally blew me away when she was up on stage.  The whole weekend was unreal and like I was in another world.  I just didn’t realize how well known she and her family is.”

“Spencer….do you have any idea at all who you are dating?” Kaylen looked at me a little incredulous.

“Of course!” I replied kind of put off by the question.

“I know you know her Spencer, but I am talking about how I find it impossible to believe that you weren’t aware of her celebrity status.  I mean this girl has been in magazines and tabloids since she was born.” Kaylen explained.  “I mean her whole personal life from who she was dating, to what she went through at her high school shooting and everything was put out there.”

“Really? I guess I never paid attention to those kinds of things.” I said.  “All I really ever heard about was her dad and that I was working for his mom.”

I shook my head trying to think if I had ever read anything about Ashley.  I was pretty sure I hadn’t.  Maybe I had seen pictures and that is how she had ended up in my dream.  Just a random image from my sub-conscious mind that said ‘Hey, check this girl out!’.

“I don’t know Kaylen.  I kind of like not knowing all the hype about her.  To me she is just Ashley….my incredibly fucking hot girlfriend!” I said with a smile.
