    AU. Ashley is in high school and is falling for an older Spencer.

    Spencer’s POV

    I can’t breathe any longer.  It’s been hard enough with Aiden sitting here staring at me, but now Spencer’s Mom is here.  And she looks even crazier than Nathan.  She looks like she just might kill someone with her bare hands, not just threaten to.  The taller blonde takes a step toward the sofa and tilts her head to the side.  I cringe at how familiar the gesture is and how much it’ not cute anymore.  It’s the scariest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.  This is the scariest woman that I have ever seen in my life.

    “I want you out Spencer,” she says in a hoarse whisper, and Spencer just grasps the edges of the sofa and tugs at the fabric.  Her mother continues. “You have no right to be here.  You broke his heart you little slut.  You broke him all up inside!” She yells this and puts a soothing arm on Aiden’s shoulder.  He does not take notice.  He’s too busy staring at me and I’m too busy staring at Spencer’s mother and Spencer’s crying and if something really drastic doesn’t happen soon I’m going to SCREAM!

    “I want you out of this house!” she screams at Spencer.  Her eyes are an icy blue that freezes my stomach.  I hope I never live to see Spencer make that face. EVER.

    “This is my house too..” Spencer says, but her voice is so low that I only I hear her.  I want to grab her hand and squeeze and tell her that I’m here, but her mother’s presence has my entire body rigid.  And there is still the matter of Aiden.  He’s totally freaking me out.

    “What was that? What did you say?” Paula says gesturing toward Spencer with her hands like she’s a five year old.

    “She said this is her house too,” Aiden says suddenly, and Paula tightens her grip on his shoulder.  He doesn’t flinch.

    “What? But Aiden…honey…sweetheart…she broke your heart.  After all those years of friendship she just went and threw it all away-”

    I forgive her Paula,” Aiden interrupts and I inhale and hold my breath.  I don’t want to breathe anymore.  I’m too afraid of what that might mean.  It might mean that I’m still alive and this ice queen still has the opportunity to decapitate me.  I don’t want to die yet.  I mean, I’m only eighteen.

    3. ok..I think I got it..Riley was with Spencer who happens to look like Ash right…And Riley is Aiden’s little sister, which means that Ashley has Aiden and Riley as siblings??? Is that right???

    5. Holy shit, Batman! What the hell just happened? Okay, Spencer obviously used to date Riley, Aiden’s sister. Does Aiden know that Spencer’s gay? And, if so, why would he agree to marry her or vice versa? So many questions…please help me, I’m a little confused. Loved this update! PMS

After all those years of friendship she just went and threw it all away-“. It just seems like she’s in love with him to me, she’s like 100% behind Aiden but doesn’t seem to care about Spencer at all.
