ASHLEY’S P.O.V.

Like several other times in my life, I wake up to someone jumping on my bed. I’ll give you one guess who it is. I squint my eyes open as she plops down on me in a straddling position.

Spencer: “I dare you to wake up and kiss me.” She says cockily.

Ashley: “Dare accepted.” I say as I prop myself up on my elbows and kiss her.

Spencer: “So, you are officially living here…” She pauses and thinks. “Well you’ve always lived here, but I mean…oh you know what I mean.” I chuckle at her and nod.

Ashley: “Yeah I got it.”

Spencer: “So now that you’re ‘officially living here’-” She does air quotes. “What’s the first thing you want to do?”

Ashley: “Call my mom on her cell and see if they made it there ok.”

Spencer: “We can do that.” She says smiling, then reaches for my cell phone on the nightstand and hands it to me.

Ashley: “Thank you.”

Spencer: “You are very welcome, lover.” She says kissing me.

Ashley: “I love it when you call me lover.”

Spencer: “I love that you are my lover.”

Ashley: “I love that you love that I-” She cuts me off.

Spencer: “Do you really want to get into this, ‘cause I could do this all day.” She laughs.

Ashley: “Well-” She cuts me off with a kiss.

Spencer: “Just call your mom.” She whispers against my lips and pecks them before returning to her sitting up straddling position. I smile at her then dial my moms number.

Christine: “Hello?”

Ashley: “Hey mom, did you guys get there ok?”

Christine: “Yeah, we got here a couple of hours ago, we’ve been getting everything settled in, that’s why I haven’t had a chance to call you yet.”

Ashley: “Oh, its ok, I understand.”

Christine: “So what is it, like ten a.m. there?” I look at the clock.

I look at the clock.
Ashley: “Nope, it’s 7:13.”

Christine: “You’re never up this early, what happened?”

Ashley: “Spencer happened. She woke me up, jumping on my bed.” My mom laughs. Spencer smiles at me and waves. “Mom, Spen say’s hi.”

Christine: “Tell her I say hi back.” I wave at Spen and she gets it. “That girl loves you a lot.”
