    Author’s Note: so as you can see, i decided to do cyberauthor’s challenge let me know what you guys think! i’m not sure if i can do this story justice…

    Chapter 1

    Spencer’s POV

    “Spencer can you come here for a minute?” Spencer’s step mom, Cindy, yelled down the stairs. Spencer didn’t really get along that great with her, but she was okay. Spencer just turned 8 years old three days ago and her dad threw her a party. Her step mom got her a sketch pad so she liked her more now.

    “What’s up Cindy?” Spencer asked as she walked into her dad’s room, a little agitated because she wanted to go outside and play.

    “Can you shut the door please?” Cindy asked once Spencer was inside the room. Spencer looked at her confused for a second, trying to think if she did anything wrong and was in trouble as she turned and shut the door. When she turned back around her step mom was in front of her with her hand on Spencer‘s waist, making her jump a little in surprise.

    “Wh-What are you doing?” Spencer’s little voice asked with some confusion and fear in it.

    “Just relax Spencer, and don’t cry out for help because then I will end up hurting you” Cindy said as she started to take off Spencer’s shirt and lean towards her…

    It started when I was 8 years old. Now I’m 17 and it still hasn’t stopped. It doesn’t happen as often as it used to but it still happens. I try to stay out of the house as much as possible but one way or another she threatens me and makes me go home, of course my dad isn’t there when it happens. I’ve wanted to tell my dad so many times about what is going on, but she told me she would just tell him I was lying and trying to get attention and that he would believe her and not me. And I believe her. Now I just let it happen, I just lay there and do what ever it is she tells me to do. I have so much anger pent up inside of me. I want to scream and yell at her to stop, I want to hit her and make her hurt like she made me hurt.
