Ch. 22

Spencer’s POV:

          The past few weeks with Ashley have been great. We’re right in the middle of summer right now, but that doesn’t mean I have tons of studying and work to do. Ashley has work at some film studio, but she still had way more free time than I do. When I told my dad I was staying with Ashley, I think all hell broke loose over at my house. I could hear my mother screaming her lungs out on the other line, and my dad sighed and told me he’d call me back. Why is it so hard for some people to just accept me for who I am?

I played with the ring Ashley had given me after putting the phone down. My dad had mentioned something about wanting to get to know the person I was so in love with, and living with right now. I sank into the leather couch, grabbing the cushion that Ashley and I always shared when we watched movies and T.V. together. Of course, we’d often yank it away from each other and fight over it until we both ended up falling on top of each other, distracting us from the T.V. or movie completely. I hugged it tightly, inhaling the smell of Ashley on it. A smile crept onto my lips as I remembered how last night she had insisted she needed it more than me because I told her to stop using my chest as a cushion. Hey, she WAS flattening the living hell out of my boobs.

       I sat there, waiting for her to come home. I feared having to go through another confrontation with my family; I just wanted to be with Ashley, but at the same time, I couldn’t just shut my family out of my life forever. I curled up into a ball on the couch, the scent of my lover comforting me. I guess I must’ve fallen asleep at some point, because I woke up to find Ashley running her fingers through my hair. “Hey there, Beautiful.” She whispered, nuzzling my neck gently. “Mmmm…Hi, Ash.” I said, putting my arms around her neck. I loved being in her arms. Ashley’s not butch or anything, but her arms are nice and fairly toned. You can see the play of her muscles every time she moves. And those abs of hers…mmmm…don’t even get me started. She has the body of a goddess…okay, I’m getting carried away. Jeez, Spencer, she comes home and all you can think about is how ridiculously hot she is. She is pretty hot, though… I seriously need to stop thinking with my clit. I indulged myself a little by rubbing her smooth, tanned arms before speaking. “My dad called today.” “What’d he say?” she asked, raising an eyebrow. She started rubbing the small of my back, making me become mesmerized by her touch. “He, well my family, wants to get to know you better. I guess they don’t like the idea of me living with some girl they’ve only seen once for about…10 minutes under really bad circumstances. I’m worried, Ash. Will you go with me to see them again?”
