    I just grin and shake my head. I don’t know why I tried to argue with her. I never stood a chance.

    I’m getting really antsy now. Spencer told me to meet her at the cafeteria at 10 pm and it’s already 11:30 pm and she’s still not here. I really hope she comes. The deal we have is that whenever she gives me a time I’m to wait 2 hours at the most in case get tied up with something but I’ve never had to wait this long. The worse has been 30 minutes. I need my Spencer fix, damn it! Well, I’m going to wait another hour maybe longer. I just hope she comes.

    I’m lost in my thoughts when I feel her kiss my head and say, “Sorry, I’m so late beautiful. Just when I was going to come we got slammed by two traumas.”

    “That’s okay. I’m just happy you’re here. How long do you have?” I smile as I give her the dinner I had made her.

    “Four hours, actually. Nichols gave me a few hours to sleep after we finished the traumas.” Spencer says as she digs in to her spaghetti dinner

    “That’s great.” I smile

    “Yeah, I’m really tired. Going 36 hours without sleep is bad.” Spencer says bashfully

    I frown at that. I really wish her job wasn’t as demanding. I worry that she’s going to get really sick because of the huge strain she puts on her body.

    “So how was your day Ash?” Spencer asks

    “It was okay. Rehearsal, cleaning, cooking and….” I trail off. I so didn’t want to talk about the next part. We got paperwork from the courts today as well as phone calls from the D.A.’s office. The trials for Aiden’s mother and Allison are coming up and we need to go and testify. I’m so not looking forward to it. I had almost forgot about them both till today.

    “And?” Spencer asks with a raised eyebrow

    I sigh nervously and say, “We got paperwork from the courts today. We got summoned to appear at both Allison’s and Aiden’s mothers trials. Aiden’s mother’s trial begins next week and Allison’s the week after that. The D.A. office called and the both prosecutors need us to go in so that they can prepare us for the trial.”

    “When?” Spencer asks simply

    “At our convenience but no later than next Wednesday. I told them that your work is very demanding and I didn’t know if you would be able to make it. But they said that you had to appear in court for the trial regardless. As far as the prepping the said that if things got bad they would be willing to come here to prep you for the trial.” I say softly while fidgeting with my hands

    4. Woohooo another chapter! You always have to love the splashley fluff, its just so good to read about. Ok I know we have to have drama in these stories but Melissa? Can you kill her too =) It should be interesting once the trials start. Never look foward to them.     5. Ooh babe. What an adorable chapter. I can’t get enough of Ashley and Spencer. As you can see I woke up a little late this morning. lol. But nevertheless, I was very pleased to see an update. I love miss Hailey hookin’ them up with the secret room. lol. And that damn Melissa better stay away! Can’t wait to see the court drama. Great update. (Gotta go… running late *smile*)

    6. just…i don’t even know what to say. This was so awesome as usual! Of course it was sexy but some of the stuff I like best about this story are the little things. The hand-holding at the table, Ashley so concerned with Spencer’s sleep habits, Hailey (she’s a really sweet and very tolerant character- i’m a fan) and Spencer just being there for Ashley (in every way…haha). I have to agree with everyone else on this….please write more!!! You totally make my day with these chapters. Even when it’s just fluff, it’s more than that. It’s so deep, sentimental, and beautiful! ugh! You are amazing!!! Continue please!! I can’t wait until the court hearing…I know that sounds screwed up but i’m sure they’ll be amazing and drama filled!!!
