Ashley’s POV

So I met this amazing girl about 7 months ago. She’s got blue eyes and long blond hair. And she’s gay. This should be a great thing right? WRONG. It’s not good for 2 reasons. Reason 1, I’m falling for her more and more everyday. And reason 2, she has a girlfriend. A girlfriend who doesn’t deserve her. Now I’m not saying that just because I want the blue-eyed beauty to myself. But I’m saying it because it’s true. She’s always bossing her around and taking her for granted. I swear if she was mine I would treat her like she was a queen. Mainly because in my eyes, she is a queen.

Ashley: Hi I’m Ashley Davies and I’m addicted to Spencer Carlin.

Madison: Nice to meet you Ashley. You know the first step is admitting your problem to yourself and to others.

I laughed as I sat across my best friend, Madison Duarte, on the couch in my large room.

Ashley: This blows Madi.

Madison: Ash I don’t get what’s so special about this girl. I haven’t seen you this upset over anyone ever. Not even Aiden.

Ashley: But I wasn’t IN love with him.

Madison: True. I gu- WAIT?! You just said you weren’t in love with him!!!!

Ashley: Yeah so?

Madison: MEANING YOU’RE IN LOVE WITH SPENCER!!!

Ashley: What?! No I just meant th-

I stopped mid sentence as I heard my door open. Turning around, I was met with the worlds most innocent green eyes.

Mike: Mommy!!!!

Ashley: Hey bud.

He ran to me and I picked him up, placing him on my lap. He began playing with my necklace.

Ashley: Did you have fun today Mike?

Mike: Ah huh. Daddy took me to the park. We had lots of fun mommy.

Ashley: I’m glad sweety. *to Aiden* Thanks for taking him today.

Aiden: No problem. If you ever need another day to yourself. Just call.

Ashley: Trust me. I will.

Aiden: Haha. Yeah. Well I have to go. I’ll see you guys later. Bye buddy.

He came over and gave him a kiss on the head and then left. I looked back at Madison who was now texting on her phone.

Madison: *without looking up* You love her.
