Chapter Ten

Ashley’s Story

     So last night definately didn’t go acroding to plan. We all felt really bad about everything too. We were born and raised in L.A. so what we know best is the partying that comes with it. But Spencer isn’t like that, she’s more suttle and likes little things. The smallest of things make the girl light up, and that’s what I love about her. I don’t have to go all out and throw her a big party. So after everyone left last night we all just stayed inside and had fun playing a bunch of games.

     On a different note, its sad that everyday that passes is another day closer to Spencer leaving. Saturday of this week I’ll have to say goodbye to her. And today is Wednesday. Only three more days… I really need to do something for her that she’ll never forget. I could buy her something. Make her something… just something. Why not all those things. Just something simple…. I think I have some ideas.

     I told Spencer I had some things I had to do today, and she ened up having something to do as well. I wonder what?

(The day passes and Spencer and Ashley are at Ashley’s house in her room)

     "So what did you have to do today?" I asked Spencer as we sat on my bed.

     "Um, just some stuff, what about you? You were gone all day, what did you do?" She asked me.

     "Fine, change the subject, but yeah, I have something for you." I said. "Well two things, but you only get one for right now." I said and she smiled. I smiled and got up from the bed and walked to my dresser pulling out my video camera.

     "I made a video for you, and it has everyone of us in it, and places we’ve been and its just about everything, I though I’d make you a video, so that way when your missing me you can look at this." I told her as I handed her this camera.

     "Oh, Ash, thats so sweet of you, I love it." She said as she gave me a hug, she pulled away and started to open it up but I stopped her.

     "No, no, you can’t look at it now, save it, please." I said and she stopped.

     "Okay, I won’t watch it yet." She said and I smiled. She put the camera down on the night stand and looked over at me.

     "So.. are you going to tell me what you did today?" I asked her with a big smile.

     "Stop, or you’ll make me tell you, and I can’t tell you, its a surprise." She said.

     "Oh now I’m excited." I said as she laid back on the bed and I hovered above her. She smiled and gave me a kiss on the lips.

     "You’re just going to have to wait." She said. I smiled down at her then looked over at the camera, my smile changed into a smirk.

     "What are you thinking?" Spencer asked me as I grapped the camera and pushed record.

     "You know what else we could make with this camera" I said with a devilish grin.

     "Ashley!" She gasp and hit me in my arm.

      "I’m kidding! Kidding!" I said. And she shook her head laughing. I zoomed in on her a little more.

     "I tell you this all the time Spence… But you’re beautiful." I said. She blushed a little bit and it made me smile even bigger. I laid down next to her and poitned the camera at both of us.

     "I love you baby." I said while looking in her eyes. She cupped my cheek and smiled.

     "I love you more." She said and we met for a passoinate kiss.

     "Now turn this off!" She said and she reached over and turned the record button off.
