Chapter Sixteen

Spencer’s Story

     So last night Ashley and I did have our "fun" on the phone. I’m not going to get into detail, but it was amazing, and so much more. I like to keep stuff like that to myself, I think its personal you know. But as of now I just finished cleaning around my room, so now im laying here relaxing.

     "No, no, you can’t watch it yet, save it, please."

     Remembering Ashley say those words to me I remembed the video camera she gave to me. I got up from my bed and searched my bag. After I found it I hooked it up to the tv and pushed play.

     "Hey Spencer! We love you!!"

     Aiden, Kyla, Marty and Brittany said to the camera, waving and smiling. I couldn’t help the smile on my face as I saw my friends. The scene cut from them standing in a group to a close up on Aiden.

     Aiden, do you have you want to say to Spencer?" I heard Ashley’s voice say, she must have been recording. "I’m making her a video to take back home."

     "Well lets see.." He said, pausing for a moment. "Spencer, it was awesome getting to know you this summer and hanging out with you. It sucks that it couldn’t have been longer, because in the short time you were here, I’ve seen how good you are for Ash, and how you fit in with all of us perfectly. We are all going to miss you. So come back and visit okay! You’re a fun girl." He finished.

     After hearing what Aiden and everyone else said about me, I felt really good to be apart of their lifes, theyre good people and great friends. Gosh I miss all of them. I got up from my bed to turn off the video, thinking that it was over.

     "Spencer! Dinner!"

     "I hope you didn’t think this was over." Just then I saw Ashley on my tv screen smiling and looking beautiful. I smiled and stopped in my place as I watched her right infront of me.

     "Now its my turn to tell you about the summer I had with you." She said. "So first I want to say, thank you. Spencer you don’t even know it, but you’ve changed me into who I can really be. I’m better with you and I can’t see myself like this with anyone else. So thanks for coming into my life and showing me my ture colors." She said smiling.
