Spencer and Ashley were having a slice of pizza in Ashley’s room and watching television. “Just like old times, huh?” Ashley asked with a smile. “The dynamic duo is back and better than ever, right?”

“Yep, I’m so glad that we’re friends again,” answered Spencer.

“The best of friends,” Ashley added. Spencer lied down on the bed and Ashley handed her a pillow.

“Thanks,” said Spencer.

“Anytime,” Ashley replied. Kyla entered Ashley’s room and Ashley frowned. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“Hello to you, too, Ash,” said Kyla sarcastically. “Long time no see, Spencer. I’m surprised that you two are still friends.”

“Hi Kyla,” Spencer said. “It wasn’t like we became friends again overnight. How’s college life treating you?”

“Eh, I have a final for psych class on Friday,” replied Kyla. “Other than having tests and assignments partying has been really great. Partying is my other major in case you haven’t noticed.” Ashley rolled her eyes.

“Good for you, Kyla,” stated Ashley sardonically. “You are the epitome of the college student that no one wants to be or shouldn’t be.”

“I can feel the love between the Davies sisters,” Spencer mused.

“So much love,” agreed Ashley.

“I’ll be right back,” Spencer said. “I’ll leave you two to get reacquainted.” Spencer got up from the bed and Ashley got up as well. Ashley prevented Spencer from leaving.

“You’re more than welcome to stay here,” pointed out Ashley. “I’m sure that Kyla won’t care that you’re here.”

“It’s alright,” Spencer responded with a smile. “Besides, I’m going to get a coke. I need a refill.”

“Coke sucks, Spence and you know it,” commented Ashley.

“No, it doesn’t,” Spencer responded. “Coke overrules Pepsi in any day of the week.”

“If you say so,” said an unconvinced Ashley. Ashley stuck her tongue out at Spencer. Spencer playfully tapped Ashley on her nose. A smile formed on Ashley’s lips. Spencer returned the smile and left Ashley’s room. Kyla gave Ashley a look and Ashley’s smile faded. “What?”

“Don’t say what like that,” Kyla stated. “So when did you and Spencer finally start to date? I have to say that it is about damn time.”

“What are you doing here then?” asked Ashley with curiosity. “Shouldn’t you be studying for your final then? You are paying to get educated these days. It’s not like high school where you can get away with not studying and doing assignments.”
