Losing Faith – (Chapter: what the fuck is going on?)

Love is a funny thing, being in love is even more hilarious. But the question often asked is “love is hard, so why deal with it?” people are scared. There scared of being hurt, being broken and not being able to rise up again and move on. There scared that one person can affect there life so much. Leaving a permanent scar on there heart and a permanent picture in there mind. But its fades. I promise you that. It may take time, and effort. It may take even more heartache, but I PROMISE you that you’ll only come out stronger. When I fell in love, that was the day I felt my heart drop into my stomach and flutter around like little butterflies. Ever get that feeling? It feels weird doesn’t it? But at the same time…it scares you, its makes you feel weak, and it makes you feel as if you were the smallest person in the world. But here’s the catch, you don’t care, because to the person who made you feel this way, you’re the biggest person.

I used to think that ‘love at first sight’ only happened in the movies. Boy was I wrong. I met her. I feel for her. I lost her. Simple as that. When I first met her, I was the biggest bitch to her. She just wanted to know where her class was. I just wanted my morning coffee back from when she spilled it. All over me. It wasn’t her fault though, it never was. I dropped my books, she wanted to help. But me, being hung-over, and cranky, I was just plain mean. I even think I called her a ‘lost cause.’ if I still spoke to her…I could ask her…

I cant do that though, I cant utter a single word to her. She once told me that she was lonely, this of course was after we were best friends, after we learned every single detail about the other. She said she was lonely in her house, lonely in her house, lonely in her mind. She told me she hated the fact that there was so many people around and she still felt alone, still felt as if she was on her own no matter what. That was the night I told her that I loved her, and no matter how she feels about me I would be there for her. So that there was no need to feel alone anymore. She believed me. I believed myself, even.
