Based on a true events in my life.

“This is your last chance to love me…”

“Aiden, I already told you, its over, I’m not getting back with you…”

“I’m going to kill your mom, Spence, do you hear me? I’m going to kill your mom…You might want to call her and get Clay out of the house…he’s the only one I don’t want to hurt…”

The line went dead. Frustrated Spencer dialed her mothers cell phone number and waited for her to pick up.

“Hello?”

“Mom, Aiden is acting crazy again….He said he’s going to kill you and he said to get Clay out of the house….”

“Clay? He’s not even home…..”

“I know but…He’s not Aiden any more, he’s insane!…just… just be careful….”

Paula hung up the phone and glanced over at Glen, lying down on the couch with a 9 mm. on the coffee table next to him. She sighed heavily, getting up from the loveseat and moving to the chair across from the window.

Glen sat up and looked over in her direction.

“Who was that?” He asked, nervously.

“Spencer….Aiden called her again, he said he’s coming to kill me….”

“Is that kid ever going to stop this shit?”

Paula sighed again, she could feel her stomach catching up with her emotions. She couldn’t help but feel that maybe this just wasn’t another empty, idle threat.

It had been over six months since the initial break up. Something Spencer had been trying to do for a while, but Aiden just would let it happen. He became abusive and started controlling everything she did. From showing up at her work and stalking her to not letting her talk to anyone else, to checking her cell phone for calls from people he didn’t recognize to calling every number on her contacts list. When she started seeing Ashley, he couldn’t handle it. He lost her to a fucking girl? Are you joking? Spencer Carlin left Aiden Dennison, THE  Aiden fucking Dennison, for a god damn girl?! He began breaking into houses and crashing house parties just looking for her. He even stood outside of her house late at night. Last night he had gotten so desperate that he went up to the park, hearing she was going to be there and let her catch a glimpse of a gun he had been saving for her. After calling the cops again, they still hadn’t done anything. This was the final straw and by next Saturday it was agreed that Spencer would be staying with her cousins that lived a few hours away, until this blew over…if it would even do that.
