Heavily Broken – (Chapter: First Time)

    Heavily Broken (Chapter 3)

I’ve been sitting here in my room thinking for the past half hour.  Sure it’s going to fucking suck to stay in this house for another year, but it’s only a year right?  I mean I can handle a year, can’t I?  What am I saying of course I can handle one more year, I’ve already had to put up with this hell hole for 17 years.  Another year will be a piece of cake compared to the last 17 years, well a very dry piece of cake that makes you want to gag.

I reach over to my dresser and grab my Blackberry Storm and turn it on.  I haven’t checked it for the past two days and I’m pretty sure that my voicemail inbox is full and that I have quite a few texts.  As soon as the phone is turned on it starts to beep letting me know that I have 10 voicemails and 21 text messages.  Most of the voicemails were of my mother screaming profanity at me and telling me that if I don’t get my ass home right now that she would make my life miserable.  Well it’s kinda too late for that mom you’ve already achieved that goal a long time ago.  The next voicemail was from my best friend Jessie.

“Ash I’m really worried about you and I know that you just need your space right now, but I just need to know that you are ok.”  I could hear the worry in her voice.  I love Jess like a sister

Finally the last voicemail was from this guy named Aiden, who just can’t seem to take a hint.

“Hey gorgeous I heard about your dad and I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry and that if you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I’m here for you.”  The desperation in his voice was overwhelming.

That boy just never gives up, I’ve rejected him like every month since 8th grade.  He’s a nice guy when he wants to be, but the other half of the time he is a complete jackass.  Plus he’s really not my type, probably the furthest thing from my type.  First of all the simple fact that he is a guy is a major turn off.  Maybe if he lost the whole penis thing, grew some boobs, and put on a wig then I would consider him.
