I finally let out the breath I had been holding. This house isn’t haunted my ass. I thought as I lay back in my bed and tried to go back to sleep. I couldn’t. After my attempts of trying to fall back to sleep failed, I turned on my TV for comfort. It was just my luck that Jerry Springer and his wild tranies were on so I watched it until my eyelids drooped, heavy with sleep. I didn’t bother turning off the television and went straight to sleep, hoping the sound from the television would ward off the ghost……

Beep! Beep! Beep! Oh yes that is the sound of my fucking alarm clock going off signaling that today is in fact the first day of school. Heres a good tip kids: don’t get hammered the night before school starts because you will have a dreadful hangover. I reached over with the speed of a zombie and shut the incessant little fucker off. The bright rays of the sun pouring through my curtains was not a friend of mine this morning and it made my eyes hurt. I laid there in my bed for a few seconds trying to adjust and psych myself out to get my ass up and go take a shower. Just as I was about to get out of my bed my glen, aka ass eyes, comes burling through my door.   

Glen: Spence mom says get your ass up and ready for school!!

The pitch of his voice sounded so loud in my state of hungoverness that I swear it made my eyes hum just a little bit and my head have the feeling as if it were being split the fuck open. Jerk.

Spencer: Glen! I swear if you don’t get the fuck out!

I yelled which was just as bad because it made my head have this wamp, wamp feeling but he was irritating me. What a way to start off the first day of school huh? He then spoke up.

Glen: Look don’t bite my fucking head off I’m just relaying the message…its not my fault you decided to get wasted last night and pour yourself into bed just before dawn.

He said with a smirk on his face and I just flipped him off and proceeded to take a nice hot shower. Maybe that, and prescription drugs, would make this hangover a little better. Thank Jesus, Mary, and Joseph for prescription drugs!! I rejoiced to myself as I turned on the hot water, stripped and got in the shower.  The hot shower did do me some good and I didn’t seem so zombielike either. It still didn’t take away all the pain that reverberated through my skull, bouncing off my brain and hitting the walls of my head like a fucking game of extreme ping pong. I then blow dried my hair, going for the natural look or in my case the I really don’t give a shit look but still making it look good…that was a given. Psh I have a big ego. My ego is my imaginary friend…ha-ha that damn Beyonce is right. I thought as I rummaged through my closet looking for something to wear. After what seemed like forever I finally settled on a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, my set your goals tee, and my have heart hoodie. Yea I was going for totally casual today. I then put on my black vans and I was fucking ready to go. Just as I grabbed my backpack my mom passed my room.
