Ashley’s POV

     Well to tell you the truth, after we ordered out food I was scared Amber might do something to it. But she didn’t bring us our food, some guy did. I asked what happend to Amber and he said something like she got sick and had to go home. But I don’t really think that was the reason. See me and her have some history together. She wasn’t always crazy. In fact we were pretty close in our relationship. But she cheated on me, and I broke up with her. Thats what made her go crazy. She tried desperately to get back with me, but I told her it was never going to happen after she pulled that shit on me. She was the one I thought would change my life. Like I could actually have a normal, and real relationship, but I guess I was wrong. Then a year later thats when I met Spencer. And I knew right then that she was different from all the other girls I’ve been with. She truely made me feel something so much better then the rest. And I’m lucky to have her and to call her mine.

     Right now we are at my place, Kylas in her room taking a nap, while my and Spenc are sitting on the couch watching CSI. It’s like a marothon or something because it’s been on all day. Its one of her favorite shows. It wouldn’t matter to me if we sat her and watched Barney….Okay, yeah that probably would bug me, but the point is, if shes happy, i’m happy.

     "Soo…at the restaurant, Amber…how do you know her?" She said looking up at me since it was a commercial break.

     "Well, she was one of my ex girlfriends, from before you moved here." I told her.

     "Was it real?" She asked. I could tell she probably didn’t want to hear the answer, but she just had to know.

     "I though it was…but I came home one day and found her in my bed with another girl…thats when we broke up. She tried really hard to get us back together, but I told her it wasn’t gunna happen. She totally went crazy after that and started sleeping with random girls to try an make me jealous, I got over it. We stopped talking after a year, then I met you. And I wanted to get to know you. Now look where we are." I smiled and gave her a kiss.

     "Yeah, you are pretty lucky." She said smiling.

     "Tell me about it." I said as I gave her another kiss that lingered.

     "My shows on!" She said as she broke the kiss and hurried her attention to the screen. I laughed a little at her and walked behind the couch.

     "I’m going to take a shower…okay babe?" I said basically talking to myself.

     "Mhm, ya ya okay." She said never leaving the screen. I shook my head and smiled as I bent down and kissed her forehead.

     Walking down the hall I noticed Kyla wasn’t sleeping in her bed so I walked in.

     "…Kyla?"

     "Right here, shit!" She was standing on a stool atempting to hang up a picture but she dropped it.

     "Here." I said as I reached down to pick up the picture for her. It was dad. I handed her back the picture.

     "Thanks." She said as she put the pic on its hook. We both took a few feet back to examine the photo of our dad.

     "Ya know, after being in the hospital and almost dieing…I really go to thinking about dad…I miss him…It just doesn’t seem right that he went away so innocently, he didn’t do anything…unlike me, I abused myself and I could have been gone…" She shuttered to get her last words out. I brought her into a hug.

     "I miss him too Kyla…I don’t know what I would ahve done if I lost you too…" I whispered as we pulled away from the hug. She whipped her tears and nodded while looking back at the picture.

     "You know dads birthday is this week." She said softly.

     "Yeah, I know…We can go to the strip and put flowers or some…Jack on the roof for him or something…okay?"

     "Yeah, alright." She said smiling a bit.

     "Okay…Well i’m getting in the shower." I told her before giving her a reasurring smile and exiting her room.
