    Gangster’s Paradise – (Chapter: Frollo)

    Spencer: "Dog fights?!"

Kyla took spencer’s hand and led her into doggy Hell. The two of them walked around a giant ring surrounded by a chain link fence. Outside of the fence were hundreds of spectators watching a german shepard and a rottweiler fight to the death. Spencer couldn’t stand the sounds they were making. It was horrible. The Rottweiler grabbed the opponent by the neck and blood went everywhere. People on the outside of the fence cheered as the shephard finally stopped moving. Spencer thought she was going to throw up.

    Kyla: "Spencer, you okay?"

    Spencer: "No..no this is wrong."

Kyla: "Hey, this may not be for you, but you’re stuck with me for today, alright? This is my job. I can’t have you interfering with my job, so if you’re gonna wuss out on me then-"

Spencer: "Okay! I’m fine just..give me a minute to take this in."

Truth is, she didn’t want to take it in. But she had to. She had to accept the fact that all of the dogs here were bred to fight to the death. They were definetly not house pets.

Spencer: "So..which ones do you train?"

Kyla: "All of them until someone buys them. I own this ring. Maybe I’ll show you the bite marks later."

Spencer: "You own this entire ring?"

Kyla: "Yep. The entire ring belongs to me, it used to be my Mom’s. She gave me my first Pitbull. Sunshine."

Spencer followd Kyla past the ring down a flight of stairs. That’s where all the barking was coming from.  Cages were all over the place, each of them had a dog viciously barking dog inside. The basement surprisingly didn’t smeel like Spencer thought it would. It smelled of baby powder and milk. Spencer was going to ask why, but Kyla took her beyond the cages by the stairs. The two ventured past dobermans, and german shephards, and one time Spencer thought she saw a bulldog, she looked at all of the animals with misty eyes. the looks on these animals faces made it hard to keep herself from hypervenilating. Kyla finally stopped in front of a door.

Kyla: "Spencer, please do not wuss out okay?"

    Spencer: "I’m fine Kyla."

Kyla opened the door and walked in, Spencer trailed behind her.
