“So about our second date tomorrow night,” began Ashley. I was thinking that I’d take my beautiful new girlfriend out to dinner to a place where my Dad and I used to go when I was a kid. The location is a surprise though. Dinner is on me, no questions asked. How does that sound?

“It sounds like you’ve won my heart, Ashley Davies,” Spencer responded with a smile. Ashley returned the smile.

Glen knocked on the door and Spencer went off of Ashley’s lap. He opened the door. “The coast is clear, girls,” explained Glen. Spencer gave Glen a confused look. Mom left, Spence.

“Alright,” Spencer stated trying hard not to roll her eyes. Ashley looked amused at Spencer’s reaction. Thanks for letting me know. Glen left the room.

“Boys always ruin the perfect moments,” observed Ashley. Doesn’t he or Aiden know when it is quality Spashley time? Spencer chuckled.

“They do,” Spencer agreed. Apparently they don’t know that quality Spashley time is sacred. So do you want to crash here for the night? It’s really up to you.

“There’s no place I rather be than here with you,” responded Ashley. I love you so much, Spencer Carlin.

“How much do you love me?” Spencer asked with curiosity.

“I love you this much,” joked Ashley as she indicated an inch between her thumb and her index finger. Spencer playfully hit Ashley on the arm.

“No, really, Ash,” Spencer responded.

“It may sound cheesy, but I love you all around the world and back again, babe,” began Ashley. I love you all around the stars and back again.

“No, it doesn’t sound cheesy at all,” Spencer stated with a smile. It was actually really sweet just like you.

“Do you love me?” asked Ashley with curiosity.

“Yes, I do,” Spencer answered as she intertwined her fingers with Ashley’s. It took me awhile to realize it, but I am in love with you. A smile formed on Ashley’s lips.

“I never thought that we would ever be together,” admitted Ashley. It seemed like everything was going against us.

“Mine either,” Spencer responded. I thought the same thing, yet here we are.

“Yes, here we are,” said Ashley. I have an idea.

“What is it?” Spencer asked.
