    I can’t believe I just said that…

     

    "Thank you… they are… blue…" I blushed and looked away. There is something different about her I can’t really point it out, I don’t know her very well… but there is…

     

    "Spencer, would you mind if I gave you a quick check up?" I asked as I approached her.

    "Not at all" she smiled. There is something about her smile… what is it?

    I checked her pulse and her pupils she was fine. Her heart was beating a bit fast but other then that.

    "Can I take a shower? I think I didn’t have one in a long time" she said getting up.

    That’s strange she doesn’t want to talk about the last 7 years of her life?

    "Ummm sure, here’s a towel and you can barrow my cloth." I said giving her a fresh towel, my favorite jeans and a white shirt.

     

    In the bathroom I explained how to work the hot and cold water and where she could find shampoo and conditioner.

     

    "You’ll be o.k.?" I asked suspicious.

    "Yes thank you" I saw that. it was in her eyes. Something’s wrong.

     

    I got out and closed the door behind me. After a second the water started running. And after another second I heard her curse

     

    "FUCK!" I went inside.

    "You can’t open that. I had it sealed 5 month ago after I was robbed." I was pointing to the window on the far end of the tub. The one she desperately tried to open.

    "Come now… Angel, why don’t you take that bath anyways, it was a good Idea. You’re starting to stink." I smiled to myself as her back was still turned.

    "How did you know?" she asked without turning around.

    "You’re eyes are different, you look at me as if you want to kill me as she just look young and innocent." Then she started laughing.

    "What?" I asked.

    "Sounds like you’re in love with her DOC, did she tell you about her girlfriend?" she turned to face me now. the room was starting to fill with steam from the hot water. I shook my head ‘no’

    "I know she didn’t! Yea DOC you’ve a real nut case on your hands… a real heart breaking story…" she was smiling it scared me as she started walking my way. Then she stopped. She was shaking.
