Come Around.

Spencer and I were just hanging out up in my room, looking through all my old stuff that I hadn’t really seen in about five months…

“oh my god…I totally forgot about this…” I told her holding up a dollar bill she gave me that spelled BoneR on the back because she wrote a B in front of the ‘one’ and an R at the end

“oh man…that was the best idea I’ve ever had” she said

“oh you know what I forgot to ask you?” I told her and she looked up at me “how was the first soccer game?”

“good…we won” she told me not sounding totally happy about it

“well isn’t that a good thing?” I asked her

“yeah it’s just…I don’t know, I feel like there’s more to life than just soccer…”

“I thought you wanted to use soccer to get into college…” I told her

“I did…until I realized I’ll never be as good as I was last year…before I fucked up my knee…” she said “…plus I already got accepted into two schools…” she said

“no way…where?” I asked

“uh Santa Barbara and Loyola of Chicago…”

“so basically you’ve covered east and west coast…” I said making her laugh a little

“basically…” she replied “…but how’s college anyways?”

“good…actually pretty amazing…” I said “…it feels so good to just get away from here, because I was kind of getting sick of it here, but when you’re away for a while you finally realize how lucky you were to have it all…” I told her

“understandable…” she told me

“so you’re dating Nicole huh?” I asked her

“yeah…” she said

“how’d that all start?”

“we defiantly did not get together right after you left…” she told me “…we got together like two months later…”

“so you’ve almost been dating three months?” I asked

“uh…yeah” she said thinking about it

“so why do you want to break up with her?”

“she’s just…annoying sometimes, and so full of herself…” she told me

“so basically like me?” I asked making her laugh

“well yeah…” she said making me laugh “…but I don’t know, she does have her moments, however she never buys me roses or any of that”
