    CHAPTER 13

    Spencer: A—A—Ashley?

    ????: Sp–Spencer?

    (There standing in the living room was Ashley Davies. Alive. Spencer looked at her and than at everyone else in the room. All eyes were on Spencer. Spencer clinched her eyes shut tight. She thought she was hallucinating. She counted to three in her head, and then slowly opened her eyes. When she opened her eyes, Ashley was still there. Rage began to spread throughout her body.)

    Spencer: What the fuck is going on?

    (Aiden was the first to speak. No one else knew what to say. What could you say? Spencer spent five years of her life thinking the only person she ever loved hung herself because of her. Come to find out that it was all a lie. The love of her life was actually quite healthy and alive. Someone needed to speak. Spencer wanted answers.)

    Aiden: (stuttering) We–Well…y—you see…Spe–Spence….

    (Aiden tried to explain but failed miserably. Spencer locked her eyes on Ashley. Ashley saw tears forming in her ex-lover’s eyes. She wanted to so badly go over there and wipe them away, but she didn’t. She couldn’t. Even though it’s been five years, those wounds still never healed. Seeing Spencer brought all those painful memories back again. Spencer walked over slowly to Ashley. She thought if she moved to fast, Ashley might disappear. She stopped in front of Ashley. She stared deeply into those eyes she longed to look into again. Her lips trembled along with her hands as tears fell down her cheeks onto her shirt and floor. She slowly raised her right hand out, and traveled towards Ashley face. Her hand caressed Ashley’s cheek, and her eyes closed as she cried harder. Ashley too had tears falling. She longed to have Spencer touch her again. To feel her again. Just when she got into the feel of having Spencer on her again, it was gone. Spencer pulled back all contact.)

    Spencer: (crying) You’re really here. H–Ho–How?

    (Ashley stood quietly. She many things were running through her head. She didn’t know what to say. But she knew she had to say something. She closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath. She held it for a few seconds, then released it. She opened her eyes, and began to tell Spencer what happened.)

    11. Wow! I couldn’t just lurk this time. A comment was required. OMG! So so much pain for both of them. They really do love each other very much. We’ve had so much drama in this story that I’m exhausted. Please just let them be together with as little angst as possible. Just let them be. Most of the time I hate to see when people leave comments that sway the author to a certain plot. I always read those and shout “just let them tell the story as it is” or “don’t lead them on to what it should be” but this time I’m guilty of it. So for just a moment, can we breathe some fresh air and let love prevail? *smile* … Great update just great!

    17. This is one of my favorites. It’s very origional, well written and there is never a boring part in it. It akes me cry because of how sad it is. But that’s a good thing. It means I’m really into the story. I love it. I love you. I just hate those damn cliffhangers! You’re an evil genius.

    19. i love this…i know i want them together but five years is long long long time if i were spence i wouldn’t give in so soon. especially since she doesn’t eat or sleep has no friends. that’s a lot of emotional damage, i would need time…great story i cried when Spence did her five year speech…can’t wait for the next update.
