Chapter 2

There’s no give up word on Spencer’s dictionary. She only needs one thing. A chance.

And at that beautiful morning, Kyla gave her the chance, Spencer needed to prove it. She wore her favorite outfit. Long khaki trousers and a soft violet cardigan. She wrapped her shoulder with a suede jaket. Eventhough it’s spring, the weather still cold enough at Amsterdam. She wore a light make up. And sprayed small amount of a perfume that she bought few days a go. Enough amount so Ashley could record the sweet fragrance from her body. Who knows it could evoke passion for dearest Ashley Davies.

Spencer decided to took the earliest tram. At 9:00 AM sharp, she’s already stood on Grand Hotel Kranapolsky lobby, waiting for Ashley.

"Goede Morgen.. good morning Ash"

"Morning Spence" Ashley welcomed Spencer with a bright smile that melted her heart ever so deeply. "Where’s Kyla?"

"Kyla?" "didn’t she tell you that she caught flu?"

"Nope, never saw that coming either, she looked fine yesterday."

"Well, she’s not. That’s why she sent me here, to pick you up. Well to look around here you know, so you won’t get lost."

"Oh okay, so you’re the one who’s escorting me today?" Ashley asked with a smirk on her face.

"Wat je maar wilt. As you wish, Princess."

Spencer took Ashley to Rederij Plas harbor in Damrak. This morning, she will take Ashley to get to know Amsterdam through rondvaarten.

With other passenger, they step to a boat with a trapesium shaped. The boat slowly passed through canal, passing by several floating domicilies, house on the water.

"Approximaly there’s five thousand people from all of the Amsterdam, choose to live on floating houses." Spencer described it as she pointed several houses shaped like a long square which built on a permanent rift.

"Is it cause of the expensive land, isn’t it?" asked Ashley with an amuse on her face.

"I guess, they’re considering it more because of the romance." answered Spencer.

"Romance?" asked Ashley with disbelief. "For me, definitely I won’t live at that place, I bet I could not get a decent sleep, the bed would probably non stop rocking cause of the water underneath the house."

"Well maybe you’re not liking it for now.."
