Ashley sat with her back against a tree. She had a notebook in hand, and was busily writing the current inspiration of her poem. A beautiful girl with long silky blonde hair and deep blue eyes to match. Ashley sighed as she looked over what she had just written. She decided it wasn’t good enough, and ripped it out to start again, only this time she was distracted by the blonde’s long tanned legs walking towards her. Spencer picked up the pom-pom that had somehow flown over, and gave Ashley a quick smile before returning to her pack of cheerbitches. ‘Oh god she’s so fucking hot.’ thought Ashley as she watched her walk away. "What are you drooling over now?" asked Aiden as he sat down next to Ashley. "Spencer." stated Ashley in a dream-like haze. Aiden just gave her a she’s-way-outta-your-league look. ‘Ashley is such a beautiful girl, why has everything about her changed? Her clothes, her hair, and her whole demeanor. I wonder if it’s something I’ve done.’ thought Aiden. Ashley looked up at him through thick-rimmed glasses. "What?", asked Ashley. "Nothing." Aiden replied. Ashley gave him a strange look and shrugged her shoulders. Aiden looked out across King High’s vast campus. "Do you ever think about us anymore Ash?", he questioned. This wasn’t the first time Aiden had asked Ashley this since they fell out of love and lost the baby. "No I’m over it Aiden, how many times do I have to tell you that?", Ashley asked impatiently. "I’m sorry, it’s just I love you so much Ash.", Aiden said giving her a pleading look. Ashley knew she loved Aiden, but not in the way he was hoping. "Look I love you, but how can you expect me to take you back after i saw you with Madison?", Ashley was starting to raise her voice. "That was a mistake, I was under alot of stress, what with you and the baby, and trying to get a scholarship to Penn State.", Aiden explained frantically. "Oh poor you, cry me a river.", Ashley stated harshly. "Aiden I’m through, whether you like it or not.", and with that Ashley stormed off leaving Aiden with a hurt look on his face.

Ashley sat in Biology trying to concentrate on what Mr. Sumner was saying but finally gave up finding it impossible. After all, how the hell was she supposed to concentrate when there was an extremely gorgeous blonde in front of her. Ashley wasn’t just into how Spencer looked, there were many other things that fascinated Ashley about Spencer. The way she walked, talked, and smiled. She wasn’t your average bitchy cheerleader. Specer had something the other cheerleaders didn’t: originality, and Ashley could see it as plain as day. While Ashley was reflecting back at the qualities Spencer had, Mr. Sumner decided to call on her. She froze. ‘Shit I wasn’t listening to anything he was saying!’ Ashley thought. Spencer turned her head back a little and gave her the answer. Mr. Sumner caught Spencer though, "Carlin afterschool and that goes for you too Davies for not paying attention." ‘Great that’s my third one this semester.’ thought Ashley sinking back in her seat. When she glanced over at the blonde, Ashley swore she saw a smile come across Spencer’s face. ‘Hmm, maybe this won’t be so bad after all.’ mused Ashley.
