Across Campus – (Chapter: Chapter 1: The King High Shuffle)
The morning sun glared through the LA smog as the first bell of the high school day rang. In a matter of seconds the low-key activity of King High’s graffiti-ridden halls turned to a frenzy of frazzled students. Lockers slammed as the student body made there way through the maze of hallways to their individual homerooms.
“Damn it!” A shout tried to be heard through the multiple voices, but was left unheard by the raging swarm of students. Amongst, or rather beneath the commotion was a frustrated blonde in a black blazer and short red plaid skirt, from whom the yell had originated from. She kneeled down to pick up her text books, whilst muttering a good deal of other unpleasant things under her breath.
As she struggled to weave her way through what appeared to be an endless crowd, a pair of arms wrapped themselves around the blonde’s waist. The shock resulted in the drop of her books… again. This time however the blonde didn’t picked up her fallen supplies quietly and politely, with a knowing and mischievous smirk plastered on her face.
“Hello Rachel.” The blonde said with a smile. She turned around to face the owner of the affectionate arms. In front of her stood a tall brunette in a pale blue sweater and tight blue jeans. Her deep green eyes glinted with a hint of sarcasm. She flashed a grin at the sight of the blonde, “Hello yourself sexy.” She said with a wink before leaning in to give her a peck on the lips.
“Get a room!” The two turned around at the comment. Enter the Cheer Queen, Madison Duarte, sporting her usual “I’m better than you” glare accessorized by the ever-popular mindless minions. “In case you forgot, this is a SCHOOL, not some run-down gay bar!” The blonde rolled her eyes, “Funny. I always though vampires come out at night. And yet, here you are." Madison rolled her eyes, “Whatever dyke, I have more important things to do. Ciao Jordan!” the blonde shook her head and returned her attention to Rachel, “Well that was fun.” She said sarcastically as they headed into the classroom.
“Yeah well, I am like that sometimes.” Rachel responded, “And best of all I finally have an excuse to take you to a dance. We can party all night and I know how much you like to party.” Jordan swung her head back, “Yes, I like to go to REAL parties at clubs like Gray, not lame excuses for social events among the student body.” She complained before lifting her head back up, “But I guess a night with you is worth braving a crappy DJ for one night.” Rachel grinned and kissed her cheek, “Thank you!” She said in a sing-song voice. The blonde closed her eyes, “Whatever.”

One thing I need to ask, will this story introduce Spashley? Or is it Rachan the whole way? And one thing you could do at the end (Advice) Is leave us readers a cliffhanger to look forward to the next post, but other then that you have perfect grammar skills and a wide range of vocabulary! :)
what Andrews.B said. your writing is fantastic. and it is VERY hard to get into a non spashley story. like REALLY HARD. but you could pull it off.(is their no spashley? or am i just ranting)
