Vivian did not go to school today because it is take your child to work day.

Im a firefighter. You are my child. Although I will let you take the cpr course.

VIVIAN

What's it like to save a life?

GABE

You keep working with troubled teens and you will know what it is like to save a life.

VIVIAN

Yea but you get to go to work and be a hero.

GABE

VIVIAN

You always try to make everything so nice.

They go down the stairs and begin the short drive to the fire hall. It is around 6:30am

VIVIAN

Why would i enjoy it isn't it just another day?

GABE

Yea but its a day you are not at school. 

VIVIAN

That is so true. I cant stand it there dad. Cant it be bring your kid to work because we are too lazy to teach day all the time.

GABE

Your teachers are not lazy just not enthusiastic.

VIVIAN

GABE

Ok how to save a life. Interlock your fingers right over left. You need to keep pressing against the persons chest until you get to thirty compressions.

VIVIAN

What do you do at 30 compressions?

GABE

You breathe for the person and you check their pulse at that time. If they do not have one you repeat up to five times.

VIVIAN

Thats it.

GABE

You could save a life like that.

VIVIAN

I got this.

GABE

I love you kid.

Gabe puts his arm around his daughter and gave her a kiss on her cheek.
